I used to shoot them with my training wheels, they curl up easy and have no memory once curled always curled and they are loud as hell IMHO.

Put an elevated rest on one of your bows for bad weather and you'll be all set Ralph.

I have all my recurves set up with a T-300 rest just high enough off the shelf to provide good clearance (maybe 1/4"). The T-300 is simple, rugged, forgiving, and provides great flight.  I use 3-4" vanes and never have to worry about damp/wet conditions or noisy arrow flight...

No, but I have tested Blazers.  Had no problems, but then again, found no discernable advantages, either.  I just stick with standard 4" vanes as they are quite a bit cheaper and the slightly greater weight doesn't hurt a bit....
