Title: Recycled nocking point.
Post by: evgb127 on August 06, 2023, 03:01:07 PM
Well, here’s a solution to a problem no one has… Today a sadistic friend gifted my son some self-tying water balloons that use little rubber grommets to tie off. Here’s a picture for reference:

Well, after spending too much time cleaning up the mess, I ended up with a bunch of these:

I bet if you used a cotter pin, you could slide these little devils onto your string serving and have a decent adjustable nocking point.

That said, I will stick with the tried and true method of tying on my own:

I’m not sure who drew that last picture (a big thank you to the artist) but that’s how I tie mine.

Now I’m off to finish picking up broken rubber from my yard. Hopefully I will have some time to shoot some arrows too.   :campfire:

Is this tie adjustable?

Yes. Fully adjustable.  Twists without slipping on the serving.

I use masking tape above and below arrow. About 5-7 wraps on the string. I also use small strip of masking tape on string to get a tight arrow nock fit if it's too loose.
