Title: Hip Quiver
Post by: socalmonster09 on August 02, 2023, 06:48:35 PM
What hip Quiver do you recommend, I have an Easton field quiver that I use
now and it works great, I'm looking for a leather quiver on the right rip that
the arrow face backward. It doesn't have to be fancy, everyone at the club uses
them, I will be checking the classified

Check out Art Vincent/Cedar ridge.  They are a bit fancy though, but :goldtooth: very nice.

Very nice quiver.  thanks, wish I would able to find one with the
arrow going backward. instead going to front.

I just use ones like this. Sometimes a raccoon fur one. I’ve got a few I switch between. Sorry about the bad picture. I’ll try to get a better one when I get home. This phone doesn’t have many pictures in it yet of my archery gear.

While leather is more of a looker, Whiskey City Trad was started not too long ago and he's making a nylon hip quiver that holds like your score card, extra string whatever.  They are only $50. Not as nice as the push alpha pack or the Kifaru quiver, but it is quite adequate, much more affordable, and the owner was a nice guy to talk to.  I have tried the kifaru too and it is very nice, modular, and holds a lot, but it is also $200 if you get the side compartments too.

Socal:  "thanks, wish I would able to find one with the arrow going backward. instead going to front."  I find your response confusing.  All of Art's hip quivers have the arrows leaning backward, toward the rear of the archer, and they're withdrawn toward the rear not the front.

Assuming this is style you’re after and your arrows are a reasonable length look at 3Rivers website  [ You are not allowed to view attachments ] . I made this one.
