Title: Broadheads shooting low
Post by: Jaz on May 11, 2008, 08:20:00 PM
I'm shooting 160 field points. They shoot where I look. 160 grain Stos broadheads are shooting 5-6 inches low. Anybody have any ideas why?!
Thanks in advance,
Jaz

I'll ask this question because I was guilty of it.  Are you dropping your bow arm to watch them hit?  I was so nervous of missing in my back yard range that I kept dropping my arm.  Shots were low and a little left with the broadheads, but dead on with field points.  A good follow through made a world of difference, built my confidence, and made my shooting even better.

Others may have some good ideas too.

THAT would be my first guess as well. I keep my form well after the arrow makes penetration,my wife was watching the other day and ashe asked "why do you walk towards the target with your hand over your shoulder and the elbow cocked out?" I noticed I DO THAT a lot
