Title: How many broadheads do you have?
Post by: Mint on January 21, 2023, 06:23:54 PM: I was shocked when I rounded up all my broadheads into one area and started counting them up. I'm not a broadhead collector and I really don't remember buying them much so I'm just an average bowhunter that tried a few different heads over the years for fun and this is what I found:

17 Simmons, interceptors, land sharks and swampsharks
5 Deltas
21 Razorcaps from 125gr to 200gr
12 palmer extreme cuts
17 220gr muzzy phantoms
6 Snuffers
6 woodsman
6 Bear
2 Howard Hill
17 Zwickeys, 2 blade and 4 blade
28 grizzly from 125gr to 160gr
8 Stos

I truly believed a had about 60 broadheads when my friend asked me and not the 145 I actually have. My friend has probably 300 broadheads.

Post by: NY Yankee on January 22, 2023, 12:50:11 AM: A couple of years ago, I decided I'm set on the exact broadhead I like so I have finally traded, sold, and given away all of the other heads I had in collection, which was several dozen. I now own about four dozen Ace Standard in 125gr and 160gr and 3 dozen Bear Razorhead including 8 SS screw-in Super Razorhead. I have enough for a while.

160 Grizzlies not sure of the number but at least 16-18

I am buying some Simmons to have enough to last. A dozen will last me the rest of my life. Selling off stuff and streamlining based on what I use.

I usually give away 125's when they show up mixed with the bigger ones. I think JR got the last group of 125's that I had. I'm pretty sure that Ryan has more 160's than I do.
I haven't been buying any more 160's for a long time, they are out there. The last heads I bought were the Cutthroats and I think I'm good.

For shooters I have about three dozen Mowoc Dots (made in 1960 by L. Whiffen). Maybe 50 remaining HiPrecision I use for small game. Dozens of Magnus II, RibTec 125 & 125W, maybe 30 STOS 125 gr.

I hate to admit it but the last two deer I made bad shots on (gut shots) were with very sharp DELTAS, one went 60 yards and the other one only 35 yards. Had to leave them over night which I hate to do but I think I'm sticking with Deltas and trying to learn to shoot better!

I have Stos still in the packages,,, what you have for LW original Grizzlys any 145-160
