Nice Job!
If you get too many laying around you could send sets 3&4 to me (I have a thing for shield cut feathers).
Bob
Too many sets, bad for you...good for us. We will keep our eyes open over at the arrow classified page. ;)
Hi, I just come off a seven and a half month injury layoff. Talk about bored!!!!!! I go back to work Monday, finally!!! Didn't get much done till the last four weeks, when I felt good enough and could move about to do anything! :knothead:
Very nice!
Set #3 is my favorite.
Hey, I've been retired since '99 and you've done more than I have since then. :knothead:
Take 'em easy and get well quick! :archer:

these one were a long time coming. Started these a couple years back. A fellow asked for these, then went back to the darkside before completion. So I tapered them down to 5/16 nock end to remove the old crown, re-crowned them restained them. A little paint and some feather and nocks......
29"BOP home made tapered ash finishing out around 600 grn +/-

Those green and whites are very nice. My old school used those colors. GO HERD!!
Cool looking arrows mate, job well done champ. Get well soon.
AK.
They are getting better and better as time goes by. What is the spine weight on these? Those last two sets were HOT!
I think you ought to get your gall bladder out more often.
Killdeer
Next time have your Appendex removed, ya don't need it anyway....
Some people will do anything for a day off....
Nice arrows.... :notworthy:
Those all look really nice. I wish I had the time to make up all those arrows. My side hurts. I think my gall bladder is starting to act up :)
Really nice, how long does it take you to put em all together? Quite a few so far. Good stuff :)
I had my gall bladder out last June, so I know how your feel. after you recover you'll be happy that it is gone.
Be carefull & take it slow. You won't be able to shoot for a while, unfortunately. When you can shoot again begin with a low poundage bow, if you have one. If not, what I had to do, just pull your bow back as much as you can, several times a day to build your muscles back up.
Good luck to you & have a speedy recovery.
P.S. Nice looking arrows!!
Man you done good. Those arrows look good.

I'm just picking at this if I start a set today I will finish them either tommorrow evening or the next morning.
Dry time is the slow part. Cresting takes a little while. If I was using GL for dipping it would be a lot faster. I use poly and like to give it 12 hours between dips.
Thanks for all the comments guys, I've slowed down on the arrow production but instead went out a nd picked up a peice of American Yellow Popal and a peice of Ash to turn some shafts out of. Looks like I'm going to get 42 shafts out of each peice of wood. I'll have to make a set of arrows up out of those soon.
All of the sets are great looking. All of us out here wish you a speedy recovery to good health.
Joe
Nice arrows!!
I'm sure the gall bladder is good for something but mine damn near killed me... Infection is a nasty thing to deal with.
