Title: Hill longbow makes meat again

Blessed to get my second buck of the year, 5th deer of this incredible season. Especially from the ground during gun season. 15 yard shot from a natural ground blind. The big one came in downwind of course. Northern Mist American takedown. 54 pounds with ace standard head. Entered low brisket and centered off side leg bone while slightly quartering to.  [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Congratulations Greg !   Beautiful buck  !   Antler size hold's  little importance in a hunt for me...Having an Ol' Bull  "Right there"  is success in many ways..... the moment was just missing  that little luck factor ...or was it .... :biglaugh:
