I had a nice buck show up out in front of me at 75 yards.... he worked a scrape and started my way

He was drooling, and with the sun shining like it was, it looked almost like he had rabies! He had his mouth hanging open, but was not in a hurry to close the distance with the doe and fawn that were 30 yards out from me and to my left...
-
He continued to walk towards me, glancing at the doe every 5 or 6 steps. I went from taking his picture to grabbing my bow as smoothly as I could. When he got to within 25 yards, I told myself that this might actually happen!!!!
When he got to the corner of the CRP grass, at 15 yards, he turned his head and looked my direction. I stopped drawing my bow and he turned his head back towards the doe while starting to walk again. Iquickly came to full draw, picked a spot and released.
The arrow placement looked fantastic, but most of it was hanging out as he ran off. This was at 3pm.

I sent a text out to my hunting buddies that were hunting the same farm. Their responses were to leave him until dark.... two and a half hours later!!! The first hour drug by.
Then I saw a doe coming from the direction the buck ran... it was like she was back tracking him??? Closer and closer she came... she did not turn where the buck did and walked in front of my stand 10 yards out.
I've shot multiple deer on the same sit before, but not with my bow and definitely not using traditional equipment! 2 deer are alot of work, but there's 3 of us at deercamp. The buck is a possible at this point, but a doe at less than 10 yards is a gimme!
-
The arrow zipped through her like a hot knife through melted butter!!! Thats the arrow in the first pic.
She raced off 180 degrees from the way the buck went, which I was happy.. I don't like confusing blood trails! It didn't matter as she only covered 40 yards and was down in sight.

The buck made it 70 yards... arrow went through under his shoulder blade, but over his heart, hit the offside elbow and snapped.
