I put my deposit on a BW bow and still undecided of what type of wood to use for the riser. A few i have been looking at is Bocote, Ziricote and Cocobolo. If anyone has one of these or combination of diff. wood could you send me a picture? Thanks

Bocoty and Ziricoti. No red. [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

I did cocobolo with gray bark to match up with a set of gray bark limbs I had.

Got a PLX with bocote veneers on limbs (core is bamboo), and ziricote in the riser. No red. No white.
Just about the prettiest bow ever.
I’ll try to get a pic loaded.

Ziricote makes a nice looking riser. Also mac ebony with plenty of tan streaks in it. Then there is Kingwood to.

Cocobolo and grey bark. Let’s see if an attachment works….newbee

Tiger Myrtle
Zebrawood riser

The two outside bows are Chechen, I believe. I really like this wood in a riser.
I don’t remember the middle/ maybe rosewood?

Another Chechen.

Stagetek, I believe I've seen your bow hanging on the rack at a 3D shoot and wondered who the owner is. Maybe the lines of a one-piece bow enhance the looks but that's the prettiest Widow I've ever seen! I like all Widow's without the red.
