I was out turkey hunting this morning and the birds weren't really talkin; so I decided to take a walk to another area. While I was walking I spotted this whistle pig about 30 yards from me.
So I figured I'd put a stalk on him and see if I could get with in range. I got within ten yards of him and let'em have it as he stood to scan the terrain. I put my arrow right through his chest; 20 seconds later he was done.
It was a great hunt even though it was just a ground hog. But after practicing my butt off with my recurve it was very rewarding to me to have been able to take a critter with it.

Hmmm I never thought of that...chili that is. I had heard the young ones taste good, but older ones make good stew. I might have to give one of these a try.
And thanks for the kind words all :D
