Hi, I was looking to get a short youth recurve bow, approximately 28 inch length. I tried out the Old Mountain Little Hawk https://archery.ixpesports.nl/contents/nl/p19662.html
(https://archery.ixpesports.nl/contents/nl/p19662.html), and it was perfect for my kids. The Lil John bow https://www.3riversarchery.com/lil-john-youth-recurve-set.html (https://www.3riversarchery.com/lil-john-youth-recurve-set.html) looks similar. However, I need a left-handed bow, which is not available.
Any bowyer's around here have experience making a short youth recurve? Any plans available?

I don't know of any plans. I have made 36" recurves for kids. I used 1.5" glass the riser was about 12". The limbs were straight no deflex with small recurves. They worked out pretty good. I could get a bow from a single 72" strip of glass. Haven't built one in several years now.
