Our weather is also schizophrenic due to the mountains. It's snowed on us twice in the last 10 days or so, then warmed up, then frost, etc.

Was the limb breakage due to ice or heavy wet spring time snow on leafed out trees?

Heavy wet snow. Got it all cleaned up and hauled with the help of two strong grandsons. 💪
