Heard a rumor today that the MUZZY SHOOT in Jewett,NY is going to be held in August
-
Please keep us posted, Don!!!
That was always a fun one!! :archer2:
-
Only went to few when Muzzy was still involved. Great fun and a real challenge. Long way to travel for me now!!
-
It used to be an "invitation only" shoot. It took me a couple years to get an invitation... :dunno:
The first one I went to, was a blast!!! Google "knock a block"
-
Looks like it is going to happen. Invitations are suppose to be sent by the end of May
-
Can we get on the list?? I haven't been in years....
-
I saw John while turkey hunting a couple of weeks ago and he confirmed it is on. The course needs a lot of work after being dormant during covid but I'm sure there will be a lot of people to help get it into shape. Once I get my invitation I'll post here and will email a copy to anybody that wants to attend.

It used to be Judos or Muzzy Grasshoppers only.... Still?? :dunno:
The coarse sure was an "arrow eater" LOL :archer2:
-
Here you go, always my favorite shoot! Hope to see everyone there.
-
I read the "rules" page...
It didn't specify what type of points are allowed?? :dunno:
-
Zwickey Judo type points/Muzzy Grasshoppers only and not the overly large ones.
-
That's what I thought....
Thanks, Mint!!!

My first time, I broke most of my wood arrows...
My last time, I had a mini torch and a taper tool!!
This year, I've got a couple dozen woodies with screw point adapters on them...
If I break an arrow, I'll just unscrew the Judo and put it on another arrow!!

Any news on if the muzzy shoot will be taking place this year and how to get an invitation?
