Tim, Don "Bowdoc" Ward does this professionally and does all my work as well as that of many others here on Trad Gang. I have nothing but good things to say about him. Post a question thread here featuring Bowdoc and you should get a great deal of feedback. Also considered very good is Rich Lopez-Droptine59 here on the Gang. Although he hasn't done any work for me, I've seen some of it and he's very good. Also a nice fellow, very accomodating and knowledgeable. That Bob Savage bow is worth spending a few bucks on-very very nice bows and strong performers. Wanna sell it? Good luck,
                                      Grant

There is likely more than one or two on the board.
The one I have used personally is Don Ward aka bowdoc. He is at bowdocsarchery@comcast.net

I've had work done by both men already mentioned and they are superior craftsmen with a wealth of knowledge of vintage bows.  I'm fortunate that Don only lives a few miles from me, so....

Your bow will look better than factory new when either one finishes with it.
