Hogdancer and a nice Fl. Hog at Martys. Rumor is he scored quite a few times despite the company he was hunting with :)

NICE! Good lookin hog! :notworthy: :clapper:
Great looking hog Thomas! That Blacktail is spectacular as well. I really pitty you for having to share a camp with those guys!
Congratulations! That's a great looking hog.
What's the story that goes with this picture?
wow...way to go buddy, thats a nice one...Marco#78.... :goldtooth:
Very nice hog! Looks like you had some good company as well.
That's a great hog! Well done! :D
Nice hog Thomas! Got a story to go with it??
What's a stoogie?
My first hunt with Thomas, we had a great time. He was a hog magnet, but I'll let him tell Y'all. Lost count after 11, but I think we took 14 hogs. He counted for 4 or 5 of those! It was one of those great times, when the game was really moving! That hog in photo was his best, it weight 220lbs, 15 pounds heavier than Joey's last hog.
Met hogdancer at PBS in Pittsburgh, our father's went to different schools together.
Nice hooks, too!
Way to go Thomas!!! You da MAN!!
POP
Thanks guys, it was a GREAT hunt, Marty is a fantastic host. Just got home last nite and will try and post some more pictures, not much of a story teller especially since I type with two fingers, ask me around a campfire sometime.
few more pictures, (http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k209/hogdancer/marty%20hog/martyhoghunt039.jpg) (http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k209/hogdancer/marty%20hog/martyhoghunt036.jpg) (http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k209/hogdancer/marty%20hog/martyhoghunt041.jpg) (http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k209/hogdancer/marty%20hog/martyhoghunt018.jpg) (http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k209/hogdancer/marty%20hog/martyhoghunt013.jpg)
Did I mention we had a good time ?
Thomas..didja notice how Marty has to horn in on the pictures? Now he's gonna tell everyone what a great "guide" he is.
Daniels hog looks like a monster too..did you guys weigh him?
Yes I noticed that about Marty, he kept asking" how do you like me know?" sure wish you could have been there, you had a decent excuse I guess. I don't know if they weighed Daniels hog, he was a beautiful grey boar, he had a huge chest and shoulders
Here is a picture of Marty cooking for us, rumor has it this is where Joebuck learned to cook, course that was Marty's rumor.

Biggie, All I can do is put ya on 'em! The rest is up to you.
Bill Urban, Daniel and Hogdancer all killed boars big enough to mount.
I finally saw why they call him Hogdancer! Everytime I pulled up to him on the buggy, he was dancing around a dead hog, kinda like a little leprachan on St. Paddy's Day.
Marty, you guys took 14 hogs?!?! Dang, you really have a honey hole there. That's a lot of hogs seen to get 14 on the ground. Pretty awesome stuff.
I need a vacation to recover from this hunt. One leg of my flight got delayed. I missed connections ending up not getting home until noon today. But it was a great hunt as usual. Trying to get footage on tape screwed me a couple times again. I had two additional big boars, one black and another brown, come in behind me an hour or so apart. There apparently was a hot sow in the area as they were slobbering and all foamed up around the mouth. They both worked over a licking post about six yards from me. I couldn't draw the bow because of where my camera mount was screwed to the tree. I'm not complaining though, as it was a great time with great company. And Marty was again the ultimate host. Thanks again Martha! xoxo BW
Mmmmissed a connection? Did it make you late for work?
Looked like Hogdancer was really dancin' up a storm with a good ol' Blacktail at his ready! Looks like it was a great hunt!
The huntin is not the best part. My buddy Marty is the finest host you'll ever meet. Handles the groceries, the cooking, the camp, the swamp buggy. Drops everyone else off and himself last. Leaves his stand early so he can pick everybody else up before the skeeters eat em.
Guys just show up and hunt with him and have a great time. Few realize the effort he puts into a weekend so's his friends can have a GREAT hunt.
you are absolutly right I realize it and hope I was'nt too much trouble, Marty is THE man when it comes to being a great host.
Thanks guys, Just tryin to show ya that a transplanted yankee can show Southern Hospitality!
Uncle Gene e-mailed to make sure his record of takin 5 hogs in one sit was still intact! I assured him it was. Biggie's been a lease member for 4 yrs and hasn't topped that one! By the way, all 5 fell within 80yds of the stand. Can't stand a show off!!
Just got back from the butcher, anybody need any hog meat?
And don't want to....last time Marty said "I bet you can't kill three" I did cause he said he'd help me clean 'em. Well, once we got them back to camp he asked did I want him to help me or cook supper? I ended up cleaning them myself.
At least you did clean 'em. Last time Gene killed a really big one down here, he passed out of heat and I had to clean it!! I now realize it was a ploy!!
It was some sight, Gene face down by the skinnin rack and the hog teats up beside him! Funny now, wasn't then.
Passed out or fainted? bw
I think it was a pass out, Ladies faint.
HI Thomas, GREAT Job send me some pic's
That doesn't bode well for the super bowhunter.
Gene kills 5 in one sit and Barry kills one all weekend?
Hmmmmmmmmmmm..........
Okay.. next time I promise not to be so picky. bw
Thomas, this sounds like it would make a great story and pics for the PBS magazine!
Barr, did you "bluff charge" any of those hogs while you were down????????? :bigsmyl:
Ray, When you gonna come down here and help keep the hog population in check? Uncle Barry was passing hogs!! He may not be invited back. He's always goin for the big stuff, I even showed him how much better the butterball hogs taste!
I assure you he didn't "bluff charge" the dinner plate!
Marty, is it true you put Barry in the best stand and Thomas killed all of the hogs in the number two spot?
Absolutely true, and I'll swear to it.Now, you do the same.
Bill Urban had some good spots to, he also passed a few hogs. Passed over 'em and under 'em!
Been meaning to post...caught up in the St Judes...
Good stuff as always guys....thanks for sharing.
Your right Biggie..i call it the ole "Micheal" trick...Marty always put his son, Micheal, in the best turkey spot...the Hog Trap!...thank goodness Uncle Sam got him for a spell....Now it's the "Wensel" trick...Hogdancer is from La., you can;'t fool him...I never get to hog hunt when i'm down there...I'm always cooking
Man Marty does get all the big names at his place.Joey,Barry,Gene Biggie etc. All I get is the occasional Don and Lori visit, Jay Campbell and wife "Big Buff" Karen  and Matt when he's hungry. Marty must have better donuts.
Don, ya gotta forget gourmet meals and start thinkin volume, Not one of us is near fit as Jay Campbell, nor will we ever be.
It's like corn for hogs, if ya want the big ones, ya put out lots of corn. If ya want Joey,Biggie and the Wensel's, ya put out lots of grub. It's called baiting. Doesn't take a genius to bait one of those fella's. Matt came down for turkey this year, didn't tell us he got several shots until a month later and hardly ate at all, probably he won't be back. He took his shirt off in the trailer and he looked bad skinny, thought he was sick! Hope he feels better.
Remember Don, Volume!!
Got it Marty. Quantity over quality. Not sure if our walk in will hold that kind of quantity but I guess we can rent a refridgerated semi for the weekend.
I don't recall Jay being fit. I only see him when Karen's around so I really don't even see him. Karen is fit, though.
I also feel bad for Matt. Must be in a bad way and can't afford real food. It was evident by the bow he was carrying. I think he salvaged that Quillian from a house fire. Poor guy.
