Team I am considering an exchange of a bow from here in the US to Europe, anyone send a t/d recurve and can provide an estimate of cost ?
Thank you

I would suggest a trip to your preferred shipper. They will give you an estimate, and you might be shocked. I wanted to give one of my old bows to a friend in Mexico, and the cost to ship there was way higher than the value of the bow. I bought him a new bow on Mexican Amazon instead, and we were both happier.

I guess I will, I was trying to save on the legwork

Probably won't be much help but I paid $60 to have a 60" longbow shipped from South Africa to SC.

I buy and sell a lot of stuff that is shipped both ways between USA and Europe. Usually if you use UPS or FEDEX it’s very expensive when you ship Eastbound less when is Westbound actually for a bow it can be around $150-220. So if you want to take your risks USPS is the cheapest carrier.

Thank you all, I was quoted a ridiculous price from UPS, not worth it.

I have shipped a lot of TD bows to France and Germany this last couple years using USPS with no issues at all. Typically box size 27x6x3” runs about $70 with $500 in insurance. Shipping time is typically 7-10 days including customs hold.

as of last week USPS is only shipping express, $ 120 , 2 weeks before it was priority for $78 , our local post office informed us there will also be a $15 surcharge coming into place on any package over 30" April first Dan

Thanks Dan. Shipping has gotten ridiculous. I shipped 6 bheads 2 days ago to a bordering state. $9.45 in a box that they fit in perfectly.
