Shortly into My 2021 bow season, I hurt shoulder at work causing me to miss most of the 2021 season . After laying off a good while to let things heal up , I started shooting slowly and am finally back to where I was before my injury.
The only thing currently open in Wisconsin at this time is rabbit. A friend of mine pointed this place out to me and away I went. I had no dogs to help round up the rabbits, so I walked slowly along the fields edge. I managed to kick up 4 rabbits, none were close enough for a shot and they would not stop to see what’s going on.
If only I could have seen them first! The snow was spotty in some areas where they came from, so maybe they just blended in to well for me to notice. A good time was had, and it was refreshing for my soul with my longbow in hand. Next time I will bring my binoculars for my aging eyes.

If anyone knows how to fix the pictures, please let me know. They are right side up on my phone.
