For the past 16 years the S.T.A.R. shoot, or Sherwood Traditional Archery Rendezvous has been held at Sherwood Archers in Roanoke, Va. We get a good turn out of archers from Va., Pa., W.Va., NC, etc. I know a lot of you guys have been to our shoot in the past. We strive to put on a good shoot for all of our shooters and make sure everyone has fun. We've had to move it up a week this year from our normal first week in June date. It is scheduled for May 28 & 29, 2022 so you guys can put it on your calendars.

The gang from Charlottesville will do our best to be there. I especially look forward to the Tough Man competition!

Other than the first one I've been to every one of these shoots. Always top notch with fine people and great courses. Bring boots for the 3d courses, its somewhat hilly. The tough man course is always fun if frustrating for most of us. Hope to see the cool spring fellas there.

Looks like a nice weekend shaping up. Chance of rain on Friday but clear and mid 70's for Saturday and Sunday.

I only made it once, but this was a fun shoot, for anyone that is undecided on whether or not to go.
