As many of you know I went to Visser's in Africa in 2005, I just got the last to mounts from the taxidermist yesterday. You can read about the hunt and see critter pictures at http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=90;t=000101 in the Memorable Hunts section.

I never thought it would have taken 3 years to get them all done but now I can start planning the next trip to somewhere! :bigsmyl: Joseph

Awesome mounts Joseph, great job picking the wall pedistal forms,,,Frank
Great stuff Joseph! Those are some great tropies! Congrats! :D
Those are wonderful! Was it hard to negotiate for the wall space?
Joseph,
That is awesome! Just beautiful work by your taxidermist. They look as if they could finish the "jump" through the wall...
Who did the work?
John III
Very nice work, especially the Nyala. What a cool looking animal.
WOW!!!!!! I really love the work, they were definitely worth the wait!
Thankyou all and to answer a few questions, Bjorn, negotiating for wall space wasn't hard because that ground rule was laid down before marriage and my wife likes to hunt as much as I do and is working on her own collection of wall hangers. My taxidermist is Rosey Roseland in Lewistown Montana. He works out of his home and does as good of work as anyone I have seen and I have looked at a lot of heads over the years. The Kudu, Impala, and Red Hartebeest are backed with painting canvas which my wife is going to do oil paintings on of African senery. One will have a picture of Victoria Falls, one will be a sunset sillhoeting an elephant standing under a tree, and I can't remember at the moment what the 3rd one was going to be :scared: Joseph
ah very cool now thats what i like to see when i walk into a room!
great stuff Joseph thanks for sharing
very nice nyala
Very envious I am!!! :notworthy:
very nice :0)
Congratulations Joseph and Mrs.!! Sounds like a Fine Match Up, and a Taxidermist' Dream!!
Joseph,
Your choice of mounts for the animals was very impressive and complimentary of the animals. I especially like the Zebra also, they are all beautiful. I hope to be as fortunate.
Thanks for sharing.
Pip
Those are some awesome looking mounts! I hope you post a picture of the room after your wife is finished painting the african scenery.
Joseph, that room is outstanding! I could only dream of a trophy room of that quality!
Very well done Joseph! Nice work from Mr. Roseland! Sure would like to sit in that room and hear the stories. Best of luck to you and your wife on adding to the collection.
Nice trophies Joseph , when you run out of room just pile them in the corner . You would be amazed how many heads you can get in a room .
Awesome mounts Joseph! My animals just made it to the taxidermist from my July hunt last year. I can't wait to have him get started on them. I'm going back to Africa in 2009 and I'm definitely going to have to try for one of those Nyala...very impressive. Congrats!
Bryan
Great animals and memories there, Joseph!
Beautiful animals Joseph - every one of them! Must be about time to start shopping for a new house. We know the two of you aren't going to quit hunting just because you're out of room!
Thanks again everyone, whenever we get a house we are going to plan it around the trophies. Joseph
Cool mate, just cool! Gotta say I love the Nyala.
You'll need a bigger house for when I turn up too!
Thanks for the pics,
AK.
Very neat Joseph. You'll look at those when you are 80 years old and have some great memories.
