This one came by at 15 yards.... got my blood pumping, but didn't want to shoot.... just yet. Linn county has some bruisers as KennyM can attest. Text back and forth with the owner who was 1/2 mile away hunting.... he thought I should have given in and shot him.
More to come!

So about a half hour later a slightly bigger buck followed the exact trail the first one took. I grabbed my PSRX, tightened the string and waited until he turned to his right. When he got right in the 'V' of a small tree, I stopped him and sent a CE heritage 250 tipped with 175 gr Simmons Tigershark through his lungs.
He turned the way he came and I saw the crimson spot growing on the off side. He just made it inside the woods... maybe 100 yards.

Not the biggest in Linn County, but I'm happy with him!
