Title: an apache among the trilliums
Post by: jacobsladder on May 01, 2008, 09:05:00 PM
Beautiful time of year in michigan with the trilliums in full bloom....went out back to try the new roy hall apache out... Drew and I were very impressed with them at the Kzoo expo.... and after shooting this bow tonight i still am....Not blazing quick , but fast enough, no vibration and very quiet as i was shooting some fairly light arrows... love the grip, love the finish...the stats of this bow are 60" 50# @28"... chechen riser with osage limbs.... hope you all enjoy the pics.

the grip is decieving ...it looks round and smooth...but roy actually puts very slight indentions in the grip and it fits the hand very comfortable...Drew questioned Roy about the grip at the kzoo expo..and Roy said he does them all by feel...they are all uniquely different...but seem to fit real nice..

Now where did you get that???

50# huh, a little too heavy for ya isn't it?   ;)

Great bow, made by a great person! Roy was a pleasure to chat with at KZoo, he explained a lot and I do love those grips!

You'd better hang on to the baby at all times...or it will end up in my truck!

Steal is such a harsh word...I'd prefer borrow while your not paying attention.

What am I talking about, ole Jake probably has his grubby lil hands on it!!!

I always wanted to shoot an Apache. I shot a couple of Roy's Caddo's and liked them. Good luck with her. She's a looker for sure.
