Need to order some camo gear for spring and early fall and I've settled on a pullover shirt and six-pocket pants from Gary at Day One. What I haven't settled is which to go with - the lightweight fleece or the bucksuede. Will be going with the ASAT pattern. I've read where some bucksuede is stiff and noisey in colder temps so I would like to hear from those who wear the bucksuede Gary uses. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

I have the pull over in bucksuede and just love it. The material blocks the wind better than fleece and is more water repellent. I didn't notice it becoming noisy or stiff in colder temps. It's very strong but soft to the touch. Also like the bino holder. You can't go wrong with day one camo.
Im also ordering some but going with the normal fleece. I have a older jacket in it and love it.
I also have the pullover and pants in bucksuede. I have nothing but good things to say about them.
Sounds like the bucksuede may be what I'm looking for. Thanks guys.

I asked Gary to send me some swatches in each of the fabrics, it really helps to be able to see and feel them all at once.
Also you can see the color variations of the same pattern in the different fabrics. The background(light)color of the ASAT is different in all of them. I ended up ordering a vest in the normal fleece-deception- figuring that would be the most versatile for spring hunting here depending what the temps are.
I am planning on ordering a henley shirt in the ASAT light fleece, it is nice and thin and soft and a good color, I think.
You won't be sorry if you ask for a catalog too, because there are quite a few items in it that are not on the website.
Just got off the phone with Gary and he is sending samples and a catalog. Super to deal with and doesn't mind answering questions. Thanks for the suggestion Tom.

Any other advice? Thanks.
