Title: Friendly Fires
Post by: jhg on October 20, 2021, 09:55:05 PM
A warming fire can really chase off the blues and re-charge the mind on any day but when its cold or wet a fire can be a game changer. Many a time a quick fire helped me close out an otherwise discouraging day with a positive attitude.

Share your bowhunting fire photos and stories.

First you can harvest phatwood, the pitch impregnated wood from (usually) pines. Here is my years supply before getting broken down into spits.

Sometimes it snows during archery in the mountains.

About to get back at it!

Moose camp 2021 I central AK. Woke up to about 10 degrees and several inches of snow and wind. Titanium wood stove worth its weight in gold on a weight limited fly in hunt!
