any u guys ever see any lemonwood?

I think it was lemonwood I bought on ebay about a year ago... I got it because it's supposed to keep it's color... Unlike osage that gets dark with age...

Yes, bought some from Exotic Hardwoods in UK (before Brexit) to Finland. Nice timber to handle with tools and works fine as belly wood with bamboo back and some hardwood as core. Gets more set than osage in that combination.

You bought it as billets? Or still rough?
Is it still available?

If I remember correct it was some 2 m long 2” x 4”… they sell this in several dimensions for longbows.

I am guessing its hard to find in the states because of our contentious relations with Cuba, traditionally the main source. Apparently its range includes parts of South America and Mexico, but we don't seem to see any lumber from there. Got to be economics of harvesting, lack of demand or diminished resource?
