Season opens here in Okla in the morning, those of you that know me are aware that weather very seldom stops my hunting if I am wanting to be there.Every year a day or two before season I put a heavy coat of Johnson Paste Wax on my bow to help seal any places that the finish has been scarred.Odor is gone fast after it is wiped off after it dries.Been doing this for many years,do not know if it has saved any problems from happening or not but it sure nuff cannot hurt.So the Wild Horse Creek Destiny got her wax bath this morning and I have declared her READY TO KILL DEER!

I do the very same thing! And more in the summer while frogging. It has helped keep my bows in good shape

Best of luck to you, my friend. Wax on, wax off. Send pictures, Terry.
