I guess I’m a little dense, but I need a little more info to understand just exactly what you are trying to relay to us!!

It says the bow is a classic Hnta (mis spelled) It says "Shrew Special" ....we never made a Shrew Special
Ron Laclairs signature is a forgery. It was sold as a Shrew but it is NOT a Shrew
-
Unbelievable.....hope you reported it...
Thank you for the heads up...
-
That's pretty sorry. Especially signing your name on it.
-
I hope you do call him out and expose him. It truly amazes me what people try to get away with.

Well, I'm sure if Ole Ron ever meets up with this skunk......
He's in for a "BIG" suprize!!!! :scared:
-
Just another example of how low some folks will stoop for money. On the up side Ron, it is a compliment that the guy knew a bow with your name on it would be worth more. :o
-
Its amazing what people try and get away with. I can't believe he forged your signature,
-
Ron, that's just plain sorry. Do you know where it was sold? Was this a local counterfeit, or did it come from off shore? Either way, it's an insult to you and your reputation. I have been hurt by counterfeiting several times over the years and have little tolerance for it. Please keep us informed. :banghead:
-
You didn’t start making them overseas did you? That’s crazy. See that all the time with broadheads that were moved to China and the likes counterfeit sold.

It appears that the seller had had the bow handed down to him when a his father passed away and really didn't know anything about this bow in particular or bows in general. The buyer contacted him and told him that the bow was not a Shrew and the seller apologized, returned his money and told him to keep the bow. The seller "may" have been trying to fool someone OR it could've been an honest mistake on his part...but that still doesn't explain the fake signature and the Shrew logo.

It's not practical to patent every idea, but when you spend a lot of time and money to develop a product, it's just not fair for some shyster to copy it. Then, to forge your signature..., that's an outrage. If you ever find out where it came from Ron, let us know. I'd never buy from them under any circumstance.
-
Bow designs are now and will continue to be pirated.
But for someone to forge a signature and company name is low as it gets.

Being a graphic artist and sign man that draws his "own" artwork for most job applications I've had the unpleasant surprise more than once when someone copied my artwork and reproduced in on a boat transom.
Fortunately that was a few years ago I'm pretty sure those scoundrels are no longer in business. I live in a smaller community and word does get around.
The Bible says "hat you sow is what you reap". May take a while but it will get back to them.
-
I'm pretty sure who made the bow but I have no positive proof so I can't post his name.
I've had dealings with him in the past, he is not an honorable man
-
Ron you said it was sold, does that person have any other info to share, like the seller, location, where was it advertised, has he reported to the police and/or transfer agent? Thanks for the heads up.
-
I think he said his dad bought it used
