Title: Wood moisture content
Post by: Sologuy on September 22, 2021, 05:57:57 PM
Guys...

What are your thoughts on moisture content before you glue up a bow ... considering you test the riser wood, what is your limit on MC ?
ID like to hear general thoughts....

All my wood is in a Dehumidified room 75/80* at 40%RH so about 7-1/2 to 8%

For me, same as what has been stated, but I live in a vast de-humidifier, so no additional apparatus necessary.

Cool website Don   I like your set-up with the controller. You should ditch the IR light bulb when it burns out and and get a ceramic IR emitter. More efficient.
