We just got our girls those fiberglass bows made by Bear so they could shoot with mommy and daddy and when i was putting the nocking point on the string the stupid rubber handle slipped right down the bow!!!...grrrr
What is the correct place for the arrow rest to be? Is it exactly in the center of the bow or is it a little higher? When i get some input i am going to glue that thing down!!! Or take it off and add a leather one to it.
Thanks!
Lance
I would think that 1" to 1.5" above centre line of the bow should work out.
If you get your daughter to shoot it, (or you could short draw it) and place the shelf where the bow shoots its best, so having it slide off may not be a big a problem as first thought.
When you find its sweet spot, Dow Corning Silicone will "lock" it into place.
Best of Luck...
PS: How did your yew longbow project work out?
