Whose huntin the opener tomorrow? Chance of rain here in the AM- should have them moving - I'll be in a stand or blind somewhere!

I still have 2 more weeks in Germany, so I'll be sitting out until October.
I'll have to see how I feel after work tomorrow. Might be not til the weekend.
Took a half day off to hunt in the afternoon behind the house.

I got 6 stands ready, 10 more to go ...
Saw 6 different bucks playing in one of my wheat / clover plots last night for over an hour. Made scrapes and tinkled horns together a couple times. Too bad I picked the stand in the woods and watched it all from 50-60 yds. I hope they keep the same pattern for tonight! I'll be in the right stand at the field edge.

Good luck Tim. I hunted yesterday evening and saw a doe and a couple of fawns, but that was all. I'll be hunting again tomorrow evening. Trying to close in on a big one that's hung around for a long long time.
Think I have all but 2 stands ready to hunt, now to get enough time to hunt them . Gotta learn to say no to people... :biglaugh:

Leaving work in an hour. Gonna try to check a cam on the way in this afternoon and look for any big fresh tracks. Hoping I can find some fresh sign to set up on.
They were movin this morning but it got hot fast!
