Title: Crystal bow finish
Post by: Mike L. on September 08, 2021, 11:58:42 PM
Anybody have info on this Crystal Epoxy Bow finish?  I haven’t been able to find a website or anything, mostly I’m looking for the shelf life; I’m afraid I let it sit too long to use the rest.

Here is spec sheet.  Says 3 years.   I haven’t had any finish that
One but my catalyst is that old and works fine

Crystal epoxy?  Campbell's make a conversion varnish called Crystal, is that what you have?
Shelf life is a guideline. If the product seems good, use it, if it seems questionable, catalyze some and see how it cures.

Krystal Ml Campbell. CV 10 to 1 mix. Very good top coat. Been using it for years.  Easy to spray.
I use the dull and looks like satin if applied heavy. One wet coat over a base coat. Then turn down the volume and fog it maybe three coats. And get a flat finish.
