Has anybody here made a fancy (or not fancy) target length riser for ILF limbs? In searching there were some threads but they were always for short risers for hunting length bows. I want to have a fancy wood target length riser (25") instead of ugly aluminum. I realize aluminum is the superior material if maximum performance is desired, but I am never going to win medals anyway and I much prefer wood for this.
Any suggestions, pictures, experiences, etc. welcome.
Thanks,
Mark

I read that thread, it turned out really nice in the end. That is a typical hunting style riser, I want to do a target style riser instead.
Maybe I should just ask about I-beaming a riser and hack away at the rest on my own. Is there a how-to thread on gluing in phenolic or G10 or whatever for the I-beam? Does anybody use carbon fibre plate for the I-beam instead?

Thats kinda what I did, just started in and made changes as I went.
The I beam isn't much to do unless you want to hide it. Never done that but it can't be too much either.
Only used phenolic and G10 , no carbon fiber. G10 is much stiffer.
