Title: Tried to quit trad......no way
Post by: valleysniper on July 24, 2021, 10:20:34 AM
Well after an assortment of injuries, I gave up trad. For about 8 months that is. Now I ordered a b&w ebony silvertip. Now the wait begins !!

Good for you for hanging in there!  Target Panic has been my nemesis for years and been the temptation for quitting many a times, but I REFUSE!

Great... and it's good that you took a break, rested, thought things out, and then came back!

Injuries are a fact of life and can be difficult to deal with... but like you, I don't think that I could ever quit outright.

In my case, what helps keep me in a good frame of mind is that my priorities have changed/evolved through the years.

I started with a real bow at age 12 and took occasional breaks in my younger years - but now at 68, I look back and realize that it's part of who I am.

I've matured and mellowed through the years, I have nothing to prove - I feel relaxed, comfortable, and as happy as ever with bow in hand.
