As some of you know that I've been in the classifieds. I've been selling a lot of my heavy weight bows....
I am not there yet but at some point I'm going to have to move down in weight.... Still walking out the door shooting my 60# MOAB at the moment... and 70#s isn't out of the equation.....
But, I'm tired of the airlines getting $100 a trip at least...
So, I acquired a Super Shrew TD last year.... and now a TD Centaur. Both which can be taken in the same duffel as the rest of my gear .
I was turned onto the long time Sponsor Centaur by Smokin Joe as I shot his on at least 4 different occasions..... Nothing against other sponsors as I'm sure I'm not done yet just as I am not done with my heavy bows by far......
However I am getting set up for the golden years of my life...

Between the Shrew, and the Centaur, and the Bear bow that SmokinJoe sent me I'm set......
-
Fine looking bow!
-
By the way this bow shot where I looked from the get go .... I mean it's dead nuts ..... nothing to worry about, She just needs to get in the woods. She's quiet as a mouse and fast as greased lighting... dead in the hand and all that... no cons that I can find.
-
That’s a mighty fine looking Centaur sir! :notworthy:
-
Wow that’s a great looking bow. I’m no fan of finger grooves, checkering or stippling but that thing looks awesome. Good luck with it
-
Terry, that is a very fine looking bow congrats. Could you show a pic. of the bow takeen down the system. Thank you.

Down South you have to take in consideration the humidity and the 1st 3 months of hunting season in the fall
.... and the year round hog season...
Hence the need for a leather grip or a rubber grip or a beaver tail grip or something for the sweaty palms..... I went for the minimal stipling on this bow so I don't have to worry about wearing a glove or covering it up with rubber or leather...

Great bow right there! Jim is absolutely obsessed with the art of making and designing traditional bows. His bows are top performers and he has one of the best finishes in the business. Enjoy, you have 2 of my favorites MOAB and Centaur!
-
Never owned one but had the pleasure of seeing many in action and they don’t play! Excellent choice and very handsome stick. As Craig said finish is perfect for a hunting stick.
-
That's easily one of the prettiest bows I've seen. Absolutely stellar looking kit.
-
Good lookin’ stick!

Nice rig congrats
-
Wow ! Beautiful bow.
What are the specs of that bow regarding to lenght and poundage?
-
Purdy Purdy Purdy!!!
-
Congrats Terry for new bow. Jim makes some of the best shooting and looking bows on the planet. My Centaurs never stop to amaze me.
-
I'll get back on the specs it's real early this morning I need more coffee..... But I will say the finger grooves are not even an issue I don't even notice them..... This is the 1st bow that I've owned has Em ...but its like they're not there.... Heck if I know...
-
Ray Hammond (Wild Things) said that you were the best shot on game he has ever seen. Excluding all the hog shots you made in his presence, ....
mice under the camper laying on your belly and bumble bees out of the air. I'm sure you will transition well.

Looks great Terry
-
Very nice! I’ve always wanted a Centaur
-
I can't wait to see Terry's new Centaur in person and compare it to mine. Maybe he will even let me shoot it a little.
-
Nice looking bow Terry, I haven't owned one....yet, but have been able to shoot a buddies. It's the one bow he say he regrets trading away. From what I remember of it, it shot great. Looking forward to hearing some reviews on it after you've had a chance to play with it.

Very nice Tarz ... I had a Centaur triple carbon many moons ago and it was a really fine bow, just got too heavy for me and I sold it to a strong younger guy :biglaugh: :archer2:

Very nice looking “stick” you got there Terry. I’ve owned a couple. Jim does a great job!
-
Fine looking bow! May she draw a ton of blood for you!

I really love the look of the rattler skins in the photos. They add a lot of class to an already beautiful bow. :clapper:
-
Very nice Terry!
-
Another beauty by Jim Neaves !!! Those Centaurs shoot every bit as good as they look.
-
It would be even prettier if it was a lefty. Make another trick shooting video for us. Love that backward twist shot over the pond on the hog.
-
Very nice looking! They are great bows!

Terry, how does that joint feel ? Im sure its super solid. Have you shot it much? Hows she shjot if so? Love the colors
-
The joint is not noticable by feel...... its a tack driver with 400 Trad Only Barebow arrows, and 400 Centershots. And its fast.
