How far past the end of fade out do you extend your power lam?

No real answer for that one.
2 to 4" or so according what you are trying to do.
If it's bending at the fades to much.
Or needs to bend more at the outer limb.
I think most try several different lengths and find out what they like. :dunno:

For me I think it's about 5 "...  But I am doing a Hyper lam where the power lam is built into the lamination..  It might be difficult to match the same effect of the hyper lam because you would have to grind that power lam paper thin to get the same exact results... Probably make the lam 4 1/2 to 4 5/8" and grind it a hair thicker to get a similar effect...  But like Max said...  Trial and error...  Find what works best for you...

You might want to start in the middle somewhere, with a 3 to 4" length... and don't go too thick on the butt end...  Maybe .020 to 030" thick where your fades end...

I think on a TD a long straight taper wedge is more the answer and make it shorter or longer depending on the draw length of the shooter. I think most of the high enders build them to work best at 28 in.
For us playing around and expiermenting for fun.
