Good morning everybody,  for those of you that are interetested, I spoke with the lady whose family hosts ETAR last week (May4).  She told me that they are waiting to hear from the state pf Pennsyvania for final approval which should occur in June.   She also told me that if ETAR does not occur, that they are planning that Ski-Tar (Ski Sawmill) will, just as last year.  She mentioned that there are alot more vendors interested in SKI-TAR this year if ETAR does not occur.

We are going regardless of where it is held. We make reservations at the B&B a year in advance. If its at Sawmill we're looking at an hour commute but it will be worth it.

My brother and I had a great time last year but we tent camped at a local camp ground. They are expecting more vendors this year if it is held at Ski Sawmill.

No reason now it can't be held at Denton Hill the mandates have been lifted unless King Wolf wants to keep things locked up. CDC released new guidelines saying it is safe.

They just posted about update on Facebook:

ETAR will be held at Ski Sawmill Resort this year. This decision was a hard one to make because Denton Hill has so much history for all of us, but we really feel it’s the right one. The two main factors in our decision are: we still do not have a decision from the state, and from this point on we will only be working with a year-to-year contract. We feel now is the time to move ETAR.

Yes, this is a big change, but we are confident that we can make this shoot just as enjoyable as in the past. In some ways, Ski Sawmill has more open land for camping, parking, and lodging, as well as many local lodging and food options nearby. We feel moving the venue to a privately owned location will be the best solution in the long run for everyone. Since this is such short notice we will probably not be able to run the Ski Lift this year, but it will be in the works for next year. The guys have already started redesigning the courses, adding more showers, as well as several other upgrades to the property to make this a great shoot.

The dates for ETAR will remain the same - July 22 - 25. Thank you all for your continued support and patience during this transition, we are excited for the future of ETAR with all of you!
