Title: Finally did it!
Post by: JGR1269 on May 09, 2021, 04:46:28 PM: I’ve had a sheet of .040 carbon fiber laying around for six years. I was always going to use it in a bow build but just never did. Last week I finished up my last gift bow for now so I decided to build one for myself. I went with one of my short, forward handle hybrid designs at 54”. I got it glued up this morning. I went with Redheart for the riser, Bamboo cores, and carbon fiber veneers.

Oh no... That does not sound good to me... You removed have the weave... Now I am assuming you got a bunch of small pieces of carbon totally relying on the epoxy to hold it together lengthwise...

Maybe someone else can chime in on this...

This, plus he wrote veneers, plus he sanded the High Gloss Front for glue up...
Let me guess, it's used as veneer under Glass.

But maybe i'm wrong.
