I went out to my dead Osage tree and picked up a 7" Diameter x 15" log to cut and see what It looked like inside.
Snakey on this out side piece .
These could be footed with something else.
It has some moisture in it but don't know how much, I checked a piece years ago and it was 13* but this one was laying on the ground

This gives me an idea, Mark.
I have a pile of osage outside under a tarp that's been cut 3 years now and I remember there's a few pieces that were dead when we cut the tree down. Maybe 4 inch diameter limbs.
I'll check them out, if I don't forget.
LOL
