I guess I could stray off the ol diet for some C O O K I E S... :readit: :bigsmyl:
I just assumed that the members of last years Cookie Corporation would start the bid at the spot it left off last year. Heck I am still trying to remember if I am the leisure director or the liesure director.
We did have a BOARD meeting in TX. As I recall Tipit made a Toast, er ah a nomination that Skyler remain the Pres. Then I got drawn away on other issues. Whip "O" what happened after that??
Thanks for the re-election guys. I would love to serve another year as The Prez. It would be an honor. :notworthy:
Oh BOY!
I have something for auction! :bigsmyl:
That is, if it's OK with Skyler of the Iron Fist...
Killdeer :jumper:
I do remember Skyler being re-elected President. After that I think the board meeting went the way most of ours do. Eatin and talking about huntin.
As CFO I do have to report that the value of last years shares in the corporation have declined to be virtually worthless. Seems all evidence of ownership in MK, LLC has disappeared.
We are going to have to reissue all new stock certificates.
I'll try to put together a projected budget.
Here is the board makeup as of last year!!
Miss Kim - Production Manager
Vance Brewer ( Iron Bull) - C.E.O.
Joe Lasch (Whip) - C.F.O.
Jeff Springer (Tippit) - V.P. - Consumption
Bob Walker - Chairman of the Board
Rob Peel (Robtattoo) - Head of Legal Affairs
Dick Easter (Rabbitman) - Chief Security Officer
Kevin Bahr - V.P. - Quantity Control Officer
Doug Campbell - Audit Manager
Walt Francis - VP - Weights and Measures
Eagle24 (2 shares)- Facilities Management
bbassi - VP- Credit Administration
BigRon- Maintenance (especially the kitchen )
Tim Roberts - Corporate Training
Gregg Dudley - VP-Leisure Activities
Drewsbow - VP- Research and Development
Curveman - Compliance Officer
Kingstaken - VP- Marketing
Irish - VP- Human Resources
Skyler - President
Hormoan - Corporate Communications Officer
Back in yer den Boy....To early fer you to be stirrin :smileystooges:

...and for an "old" neophyte, how do i find out more about the auction, etc. Can we/i bid online for "stuff" or should i just be patient & all of these questions will be answered?
Thanks in advance....
Randy

Good stuff to come for all you 1st timers that is for sure. I was floored last year for my first auction at what a group of people can put together!! Yup! Me too, Bernie...I ain't as "ready" as I once was, but I'm as ready "once" as I ever was... :knothead: :banghead: :jumper:
Joel...sent you a pm..i know i'm from south georgia, but...our cell phones don't have as many numbers in it as the one you sent me!!!! Help me out...slowly!
Wahooo! This is my favorite shopping spree of the year. And to make it even more fun, I have a dandy bow that I'm putting on the block for the kids!
Speaking of the kids...I am in Memphis on business right now and directly out my hotel room window is big, beautiful St. Judes Children's Hospital. Miracles happen within those four walls, my friends. And as long as people continue to keep the hospital's mission alive through their generosity, they always will.
I can harley wait until we get this year's show on the road!!!

Be here fore ya know it :clapper: :clapper:
Yep, I can feel it (trying to) sneaking up on me, even as we speak! :jumper:
This will be my first auction...looks like fun and more importantly to support the awesome efforts of St.Jude's. Better start saving up for this! Those cookies must really be special....I know! Hands off the cookies! lol
OK guys,
I saw the announcements, I looked at the four different forums, but for the life of me I can't see any difference in their content. Why are we using four forums for bidding? :help:
The forums - 1 through 4- contain different items, and all start at the same time, but end different days....pay attention to the description of the individual forums in black lettering underneath the forum name.
I guess you missed the thread about having 4 forums....let me see what I can find.
""Had some chat and great input from Mitch Walker on the Paradise Hunt about how to get to $100,000 on the next auction.
I've kicked around his idea, and came up with a thought myself on how to go about it....gonna try and explain this the best I can, and I'd like to have some of ya'll input as to how you think it would work. I ran it by Doug this morning, and I think we are off to a good start.
OK...1st we make an 'Entry Forum' where all entries are entered, and a strong plea for all items to be entered before the auction opens. This will be open for listings by all members.
We create Auction Forum 1, Auction Forum 2, Auction Forum 3, and Auction Forum 4 that are all separate, and all have the same start date, but have a different end date. Auction Forum 1 will end, and a day later 2, and a day later 3, and a day later 4.
These will be a read only forums till its time to turn them on. Doug and I will move listings from the Entry Forum as they come in to the other 4 forums as we see fit, so that each forum carries a few of the big ticket items.....take for instance hunts...each forum would have at least one hunt, and then we'd start back over....same with other big ticket items...and separate knives, arrows, bows in the 4 forums.
This way if someone gets out bid on a hunt lets say, they can bid on another one the next day. Same with other items. This will allow folks to still have a chance donate even if they loose out on a particular item.
This will also allow those that have a set amount to actually get to donate again and again instead of loosing out on the single day as before.""
Thanks Terry.
The number at the end of each listing on the general forum is the bid forum it was moved to.
Terry, I sent you an email about an item for your approval.
