Going to just bite the bullet and order some wood arrows-they seem to fly better from my bow and I'm tired of tinkering with carbon.
Only downside is the limited broadhead selection, but i'll get over that.
Planning to shoot 160 grain snuffers at turkeys, and likely Delta 4 blades (if I can ever get them sharp) for Iowa whitetails.
Only issue is the glue on Delta's are 135 grains, and I'd really prefer to just shoot 160 grains across the board.
What can I do to increase the weight on the Delta glue on's?

Drop 20-30 grains of bird shot into the ferrule and pack it in lightly before you mount the head on the shaft. Or, get some of those little bullet weights that anglers use. A sixteenth ounce or 3/32 oz size should do it. Again, put one in nose/point first and tap it a bit to seat it before mounting the head to the shaft. You can also get them in tungsten, which is heavier than lead, meaning you can get more weight into a smaller package if that's what you need.
On the other hand, you could just shoot the Zwickeys as they are. You won't notice 25 grains difference in point weight.

#6 lead shot weights right at 2.2 grains each. 5 would be 11 grains, 6 = 13.2 ish. Doesn't take up too much of the taper if you melt them in.

what Orion said. if you can't fit enough in for your needs melt the lead shot in a small ladle and pour it in. it will take up less volume in the ferrule for a given weight.

Wudstix just beat me to it!

Ace makes a couple of heads in 160. Nothing to add.
-
I don't think ace makes 4 blades.

Birdshot sounds like a simple fix and Deltas are legendary but why not shoot the 160g snuffers for both if you need 160g for a proper tune? Snuffers are GREAT boradheads!

Problem is I've only got a half dozen Snuffers lol. I also need more confidence that the Snuffers can get 2 holes on Iowa bucks out of a 43# widow haha

Have not found anything that can stop a balanced arrow pushing a sharp Snuffer.

This might be an unpopular opinion but when I switched back to wood arrows I started using insert adapters from 3Rivers. They are 50 grains and allow me to use screw in heads. Now I can tinker with whatever point weights I want.
