Just received an abused black widow from ****.The former owner used a wood rasp to try and attain center of shot. I'm refinishing the bow and I have two questions for those in the know! The bow has 2 small holes above the handle facing the shooter thru the fiberglass. what do I fill with and color to match the light brown fiberglass.Secondly should I use a sanding sealer over the bare finish and what the best finish that I should apply! I can spray with a decent air brush.thanks dennis from ca.
some pictures might help. As for a finish, I've refinished several bows including this Widow, with nothing more than Helmsman's Spar urethane.
