Was a long season and for the most part I have quit chasing deer and have just been chasing lions. Jan 15 is the last day of the season and our tracking snow was terrible so I decided to climb in the stand and enjoy the last day sunrise. Before the sun even came up I was surprised by a big old doe walking my way. 15 yard shot and watched her tip over in under 50 yards. Then I got to kick back and watch the sunrise....

You can see the gap in the tree behind my arrow where the stand sits

Thanks everyone! Still trying for a lion. Yesterday we did a 8 hour run on a bobcat and somehow ended at a bear den with a great big bear in my face
