I always wondered what happened to that bow after reading 8th's account of it in his tribute to Schaf. Figured Ol' Shorty would never have given it up. Hopefully it will bring in a bundle for such a good cause. :clapper:

Too bad my tax rebate is already spoken for.

Best of luck to him. Hopefully I'm not intruding but if his Doctor's haven't mentioned it UofM Fairview excels in living donor transplants. A family member with same blood type and able to pass a thorough physical could perhaps donate 60% of their liver and bypass the wait.
This hits close to home. From the heart..Good luck, Jim.

Jim,
I do not know the Cassidy family personally but I will be sure to let them know of this. Thank you for your insight and support. Best Wishes,

I'll be heading out of town for a few days and back Sunday evening. If someone would like to keep this up top that would be great. Looking forward to see what we can do next week for the Cassidy Family:)

Since I don't know the Cassidy Family personally I don't get regular updates on his condition. I received an e-mail from our customer who gave us this bow saying Jim did in fact receive a liver transplant and that he was doing well. Just moments ago, however, I received an e-mail saying that he is back in ICU in Minnesota with a possible blood infection. Above all else this family needs our prayers. Thanks so much and I will try to keep you posted on his progress.

Auction closes with a final bid of $2,351.00 from a very generous Jay Campbell. Thank you Jay!If I knew how to do those little face icons I would do one smiling big, clapping hands and jumping up and down! Thanks so much for those of you who participated and donated financially and prayerfully to the Cassidy Family. I would also like to thank the other bidders who stepped up with their generous bids. I will try to keep you posted on Jim's progess. Everyone have a nice weekend and thanks again.
God Bless,

There you go Beth. With a little luck, Jay will bring that bow by our camp with a little "strong brown drink" for a "sip and see". He told me he was going to get the bow to keep my wife from killing me. Thanks Jay

Good stuff, Jay!
