What is the best way to carry the blind (dark horse) into the field? Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how they carry their blind through the woods in the dark? Its a very nice blind but kind of big when folded into its bag. Any input would be great. Thanks, Glen
The strap works pretty god, ya just put it across your back with strap across your ches over one shoulder like a back quiver. Shawn
I have a badlands pack that has four external straps across the back. I lay my blind ontop of the pack and strap it down. It works great and I can carry it for as long as I need to comfortbly.
I have one of those thing you put your golf bag on and pull it behind you. Painted it camo it works great pulling it around in a field or on a road. Not much for going up a steep ridge or a thicket though.
Double bull makes what they call there Wild Thing Pack. It holds the blind, chair, bow, and accessories with a built in 2.5 litre water reservoir.. It looks like a cool set-up. Quite pricy though. $230.00.
I'm with ethan. I use a badlands 2200 pack. Works great.
Here's how I get mine from spot to spot....alot more comfortable than tha strap eating into your shoulder...I give around 20 dollars or so for this one.Both my children think it's some kind of toy & have pulled it all over the county...lol

I simply strap mine with bungees on a Schuh (made by Coleman I believe) plastic pack frame. Works sweet and simple.
i bought the wild thing when they first came out. best purchase i made to carry the blind. when i take my son with me it carries enough stuff for the whole day

Thought about trying to make something similar to that years ago, glad someone has finally done it - except the site says they're out of stock and doesn't give a price.
I go the golf cart route,, I have a square kitty litter bucket wire tied to the bottom. I don't even mess withe the DB bag, just fold it up drop it in the bucket.. Room in the bucket for a couple of stools and a decoy or two.. One Bungee around the top and I am truckin
I use either a Badlands pack or my Cabela's pack frame. The pack frame works better though. I just strap it on and strap on a comortable chair and off I go.
I strap mine to a Tatonka Lastenkraxe frame pack.

Bluegrassbowhunter, I have used the same thing for my tree stands and climbing sticks, I converted a golf cart, I just put a platform on it with the lip that grips the tree stand, in wintertime when we have a lot of snow, I took and made skis for it. I put two blocks that are the space of the wheels, and use straps across the wheels, and it pulls long over the snow just fine.
I have also used Alaskan guide frame, from Cabela's, I think it was $99. But the cart works out the best, because I can also put my pack on it. And it's light enough to where I can move the whole thing over a dead fall if I have to. Works out great.

Just got my 2200 Max-1 via the big brown truck this morning. Wow what a pack, bought it for two reasons...to carry my Matrix and if I ever save up the pennies for a western hunt I'll have a great pack. I still haven't figured all the different pockets and attachments out yet but will very soon.
Very comfortable and huge, I could fit my youngest in it I think...he only weighs 35 pounds.
