Hi all,
Excuse my ignorance but Im on the verge of ordering a new bow and just wanted to verify something.
Say I ordered a Actionboo cored bow with Actionboo limb laminations and then had a Bocote veneer added to the back. Does the Bocote veneer take the place of one of the boo lams or is it additional...basically just extra weight for the sake of pretty?
Im guessing its additional and would affect performance negatively, is this correct?
I dont think it adds a lot of weight and from what I see on my bow with the wood veneers compared to the same without it does not seem to affect the performance.
By the way, how are you guys getting on over there, done counting yet? :(
Sorry our pressie dont have the guts to say something.Cheers

Matabele,
The bocote veneer will add beaty to your bow without affecting performance at all. The thin veneer just replaces the same thickness of actionboo. Total wood thickness stays about the same. The veneer is so thin, that any weight difference is negligible.

Thanks for the reply guys!
