Title: is my set up adequate
Post by: VinnieB on April 21, 2008, 07:24:00 PM
i have spent since last january fooling around with my longbow set up. its a 48 pound at 25.5 inches and the only thing i have got to tune right is a xx75 2013 with a 125 grain broadhead. the total arrow weight is just a tad more then 400 grains. is my set up adequate?

btw i will be hunting whitetails and sikas in maryland

thanks

Sharp two blade in the boiler-room at reasonable ranges and you should be fine.

if you get into much bigger critters you might, i mean just might want a little more but i bet that would kill most anything in NA.

I agree with above but your short draw does nothelp things. I know your bow is 48#s at your draw but a 48# bow with 2 more inches of draw is quite a difference. Keep them close and use sharp heads. Shawn
