Sorry Jack...I coulnd't resist!!!
Certainly enjoyed meeting ya at the PBS Banquet!
Take it all in stride my friend...all in stride. :D
HA! Way to go Jack! Now you've finally made it big, hehehe! Seriously, thanks for being a good example and a good sport. You could be famous for a lot worse things you know. Especially when you hang around Bob too much!
Well done Jack! That's a beautiful Pronghorn! Congrats! ;)
Jack, is there a book due out soon? We're dying to read of your exploits!
Yep, Jack is definately worthy!
Great pic!! :archer:
Thanks guys. I am certainly not worthy of "world renowned" status. That dern Blake Fisher started it as joke and now it will never die. I went to the dentist last week and he even got in the act telling me how honored he was working on a "world renowed bowhunter". Makes me wonder about my friends. ;)
Jack
Congrats, Jack. Did you get him with one of the Western Larch arrows? How far did he go?
Great job.
John
Don't be so humble...we all know what kind of bowhunter you are.......
Yes I got him with a larch arrow. It wasn't a great hit but I did see him give up the ghost to my Great Northern Ghost. My shooting went to pot just before that trip. Biggie you are hearing too many lies from Jerry Brumm. :)
Jack
We're all just jealous Jack......Congrats on the speed goat and all of your other world reknowned accomplishments! I'm glad we had a few minutes to visit in Pittsburgh as I always enjoy your company. I'm seeking fame by association (or is that guilt?).
Virginians just belong up there! Enjoy, Jack. Looks like you earned it.
Killdeer
My puter has the hesitation blues... just got the picture that went with the lable up top. Nice goat and what we used to call a ****-eating grin. Way to go Jack.
Congrats on the Pronghorn. :bigsmyl: :clapper:
Jack, That sure is a nice goat. I enjoyed meeting you at the banquet...but I must say you might want to reconsider who your friends are :) Doc
way to go Jack,congrats!
Doc I think you are right about who I call "friends". I found out today they had this planned before we ever left Pittsburgh. It's ok though, I may have the last laugh as I had some backstrap from that antelope for dinner tonight and man was it goooood.
Jack
Glad to see you up top Jack!! Congrats again Sir. :bigsmyl:
How 'bout the story Jack ??
Nah Jack.....it was all my doings....don't go raggin your friends. I figured it was too much fun not to carry it on a little further. I got the pic off the Eclipse web page.
So now you can rag on me!!! :biglaugh:
Good living is the best revenge. lol
Jack, For my first time PBS Banquet, I must admit...You gotta have Great Friends to pull a good natured prank like that. I just loved every aspect of the entire weekend...Doc
Your buddies sure did lay that one on ya' good Jack. And 450 people went home from PBS and will never forget who Jack Denbow is. And now add another 15,000 more. You really are World Reknowned! :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
Thanks guys. I am glad to see everyone is having as much fun with this as I am. I guess all those pranks I have pulled over the years are comming back to me. I am so blessed to have such great "friends". The great thing about the PBS gathering is you get to add to that list.
Thanks again.
Jack
Jack (PB):
It is nice to have a "famous" friend. I have framed the Eclipse card you so kindly autographed for me. I'll always treasure it.
John S
Is it true that the antelope in the photograph dropped dead before the bow was even drawn?
After all, why bother to keep breathing when you are in the kill zone of a World Reknowned Bowhunter?
Your 15,001 fan in the Northern Hemisphere.
:notworthy: :notworthy:
TonyW, he just about did. As I said my shooting had gone to pot just before that trip. I mmmmmmissed the first shot, man that is hard to say, and he just turned 180 and dared me to try again and managed to make it count that time.
Jack
Wow Jack!!!...no wonder you're world reknowned!!!....you even give em a warning shot.
What a true sportsman. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
Yes Terry the secret is to come close but not too close, that usually gets their attention then you can lower the boom on them. :biglaugh:
