I went on an exotic excursion at his place. Second evening I got a shot, and actually made a lethal one, even though my lower limb of my Tall Tines recurve split at the fade on the shot.
Fortunately I had my Primaltech long bow with me and was able to continue to hunt the rest of the weekend.
So Tim took my riser home thinking he may have a set of limbs that will get my bow back in business. He calls me the next week and has a set of limbs and it is only one pound higher in DW than the limbs I had. I finally got around to shooting them last night with a new string and they are gonna work great.
Thanx Tim!

Tim is definitely a salt of the earth good guy. I don’t think he is a member here, or at least doesn’t post here anyway.

Well he's a member of the Traditional Archery Society so some here may know him from there.
Regardless, for him to help out someone he just met and doesn't know a whole lot about tells me a lot about his character.
Salt of the earth is a good description.

It is so easy to dwell and navigate within the Trad world. There seems to be a good Samaritan at every turn.

That is a brother of the bow right there...awesome gesture of kindness.
