Title: Kephart knife from Lucas Forge
Post by: Ron LaClair on September 29, 2020, 05:01:57 PM
My Vintage Kephart knife came today. It is 9" OA, with a 4.4" blade of 01 steel, Aged oak handle aged brass pins. Very good quality leather sheath.

This is a sweet knife, it would bring a smile to the face of Ole Kephart himself. It will definitely see service this fall.

I'm a HUGE fan of the Kephart knife!!!!

Figured I'd "road test" one before I sprung for a custom.
So, I bought a KaBar Kephart.  Nice quality knife for 100 bucks!

That being said, a custom Kephart is on the horizon!!

I am a fan of knives from Lucas forge. I bought a large roach belly style (one of the most prominent styles of the colonial era) for my Rendezvous knife. Lucas is a great guy, and his work is excellent. Check him out.
