Title: glue for woody weights
Post by: rainman on September 13, 2020, 04:24:33 PM
What glue does everyone use to glue the broadheads to the Woody Weights?  I get ferrul tite for the WW to the shaft just wondering if that will work for metal to metal.

It should work. All we used for ever gluing inserts into aluminum shafts. Also for gluing glue on BH’s to metal inserts. Only issue Ferrel Tite had was becoming brittle after a couple years.

I have had good luck with Ferrel Tite for the WW to shaft, then two part devcon epoxy for the head to WW.

I use Kimsha, it doesn't become brittle.

I ran out of Ferrule -Tite one day and went to the hardware store. Found a bag of Gorilla Glue glue sticks for glue guns. I use it the same way as Ferrule-Tite and it works great. Ill never have to buy Ferrule-Tite again. It melts at a low heat and hardens quickly to a firm, tough, rubbery consistency. Not flexing but not hard either.

James I will try that when my ferrule tite runs out.  That is what I used and it worked great so far.
