Title: Sheepeater: arrow question
Post by: One eye on April 18, 2008, 07:48:00 PM
Any sheepeater shooters out there shooting aluminum arrows?  I need a starting point for tuning up a my new Sheepeater.  It is 58# at 28".  Any help would be appreciated.

2018 would be a good starting point.

I haven't got my sheepeater just yet but I plan to use 2018s with heavy tips. Is your draw length 28" and do you plan to use a certain weight tip? Mr. Adcock's arrow selection chart has a 60lb bow with a 29 to 30" arrow using a 2018 with a 125 grain tip. I hope this helps.

Thanks to both of you.  I am really struggling right now with my Sheepeater.  It tunes out great, but the issue is me.  I am shooting all over the place.  I may have to accept the fact that I am simply a longbow guy ;-)
